Evil

You lied approximately your capability
you exaggerate our possibility
are you ignorant of culpability
or exempt through verbal affinity

chaos you can not bypass
or moot mortal bias
whirlwind incarnate genius
tempered tempests pious

pleasure to be desired
character now no longer required
curiosities uninspired
hopefulness retired

fact hits with a clause
assist sharpen lucifers claws
its okay, i dont ruin laws
Lord shield me, O Holy Cross

They recognize now no longer what they do
Just factor their finger at You
God, best Your love is true
The suitable are a ways and few

Dont blame God for punishment
Love cant reason your detriment
You are His trustworthy instrument
He merits your complete commitment

I really enjoyed the pace of this poem. It flows really well. I love the third stanza. I can't really explain why exactly, except to say that it just hit me right. If that makes sense.
