A place to be

A place to be

A Poem by MrBlack202

With the weight of hate on my shoulder. It was no bigger than a boulder. And yet some return home, but I couldn't. And yet some got a hug, but I didn't. And some felt safe, I could not. As I embraced the cold loneliness, some felt hot. As many sleep the sleep of death, sleep pursues me.

i know very well the weight of hate. i carry it around everywhere. i know what it is like not to have a home. i know i seek isolation just because i am alien to others, even my own family. and i know these two things are connected. yet how to escape it? sleep, yes i try to sleep as much as i can. death - yes, i hope death comes for me soon. this anger is becoming too much to bear.
