Pillow

Pillow

A Poem by MrBlack202

A friend that I seek in the night. When I can't sleep tight. And my heart is sore, deep within the core. Rivers of tears flow. When the pain won't go. I bury my face in you, when I cry. There's nothing I did not try. As tears dry, your warmth returns. Sleep is once again invited to take me.

I think this is a very lovely poem. Though it's sad and melancholy, I still find some comfort in it knowing I have my own pillow that I sink into when I'm sobbing. Thank you for making this, I enjoyed reading it.
