Deer

Deer

A Poem by MrBlack202

Trees that stood tall. As the wind whispers, there's a call. As the shadows grew darker. I feared what I could not see. The earth crawls when there's no walls. As I think of those I hold dear. The sliver sun shined upon the most majestic creature. With eyes of innocents and horns of thorns. A deer, and here where I stood the shadows began to decay. And I was no longer their prey.
