Mother

Mother

A Poem by MrBlack202

Arms as soft as feathers, a hug that melts mercury. And every word and action shapes and moulds me like clay. How faint are the recollection of you, like lines erased but not forgotten. Illness a creature like no other, is bound to leave a trail of misery. And yet it's purpose is unknown, fragments of you still live in my soul. And the vestige of you, shall not bring drops of sadness but hope and happiness. For from dust we came to dust we return.
