A Lock & It's KeyA Poem by Mr.SixThis is more done to so the double standard between men and women. Women being told to be chaste and men to be the opposite. Enjoy!! :D or utterly disapprove!! :PA Lock And Its Key A lock is special It guards things of value. A belief, a moral, an image to stand to. This lock should keep safe, what it has to hold. Because who knows? It could be treasure, or gold! With every lock, comes it's key, A special fit, cut perfectly. And one day it will share, What the lock keeps secretly. Sadly, not every lock waits for its special key. Some locks are picked, left open you see. Now this is a bad lock Something we frown upon, Because what good is a lock, When it's treasure is gone? So the lock is tossed To guard nothing of value. No morals, beliefs, no image to stand to. But then there is the key, Whom which we love! It opens any lock, A gift from above. We call it a master, For its gift of persuasion. It opens many locks, And holds treasure invasions! But unlike the lock, this key is of value. Because it has morals, beliefs, And an image to stand to.
