My Shadow

Every minute of every day

You are everywhere I go

Never seem to lose your way

Must you always be in tow

If you tire of the chase

Would your boredom ever show

My familiar with no face

You lonely deep and dark shadow

With no eyes you cannot see

That I trust you like a  foe

But when you spoke you said to me

"You are all the friend I know"
