Sit by the fire

Sit by the fire

A Poem by Mr. Lopez

Come sit with me by the fire
And bring all that you are
If you truly believe in your heart
We can wish upon a distant star

My car isn't fancy
but my love is for real
My mind isn't sharp
But my heart still can feel

You won't need a blanket
Because we have Gods hand
He warms every heart
In every land

We don't need to hold on
to the ways of our youth
Let go of your sins
And hold on to the truth

Not a day will go by
When my soul will not try
So come sit by the fire
And lets say goodbye

what a very simple poem, yet it never fails to move me. The reason for this is that, the poem has been relating to human's nature of finding contentment in peace, grace, self-forgiveness, repentance and simplicity. Timeless and easy-reading poems to nourish souls of all ages, very very brilliant!
