Riding The WindA Poem by Mr. LopezThis isn’t how things were supposed to go But then again…. I can’t control which way the wind will blow I wasn’t meant to be alone and lost at sea But then again….. Maybe this is how I’ll get to where I’m meant to be You see….. It doesn’t really matter who is wrong And who is right What matters is that we row on through the night The waves come crashing down on me Despair is free I will not let it in ‘cause even that would be a sin On the horizon are the plans he has in store for me I must first believe Before I am allowed to feel or see Because I can’t control which way the wind will blow But when it does…. That’s the way I’m sure to go
