Pink dogA Poem by Mr. LopezOld yeller has nothing On my dog pink The wag of her tail Can make my pain shrink I think I’ll erect a statue Just in her name The perfect friend Is her claim to fame She runs like the wind And climbs like a gecko
but looks like a dingo there are so many legends about her that many people know The things we have been through The joy and the sorrow She waits and she waits For me to come home To make sure I know That I’m not alone She barks when she’s happy Licks to show love She’s truly a blessing That came from above We still have some trips Left in us yet She’s the bestist of friends And not just a pet
