Are you lost?

Are you lost?

A Poem by Mr. Lopez

Disconnected from my mainline of fortitude

In supplemental elements of tempered time

Unfold the pages of my story in slow motion

Depending on the nature of circumstance

Under developed and/or overkill

Sentiment is thrown to the wind

Reconnected by the source of love

My heart

Reinvented by the most important part

Reassembled I resembled a pillar of stone

For a temple where we gather so

I’m not alone

Remember how you wished one day

You’d find me here?

Disconnected from the years of pain

And weight of fears

There are many who would doubt

That this could all be true

Have you forgotten him?

Because I know

He still remembers you

New review... after re-reading, after several days or weeks, after many different reason...
I still agree with Dani C., just wanted to say how I felt it strange to still see it in the same way yet differently. You definatly have a talent for "reaching out and touching" be it heart or soul. What a wonderful gift you have.

Amen to that brother. I love the ending "He still remembers you". Also, the conceptualization of the temple of stone. Good write my friend.

Thank you for the reminder in this write of yours. I love even your author's note and I would like to say-I won't. I couldn't. He is the very air that I breathe-my everything. We all need these gentle reminders though. Bless you!
