City Song bird

City Song bird

A Poem by Mr. Lopez

I turn my ear to the sky

And listen for the message from inside

He speaks to me quietly,

 Softly he speaks

I turn my face to the sky

To accept his gift to my life

His grace rains down on me

To wash away my sin

There is no excuse for to sin

His message comes from within

In the song birds song

I hear him

Speaking to me ... quietly

Softly he speaks

To me

“You have been forgiven”

I like that because all creation is God's message to us. George Washington Carver after the ciivl war wanted to help revitalize the economy of the south. He went to a laboratory and discovered 300 things you could do with a peanut. Everything from borden milk to latex was discovered by him in that peanut. He testified before congress who asked him how he discovered so much. He said he would bring his bible into his lab and ask for the presence of God to guide him. He also, said that all the plants and seeds were God's little books and they had much to say in them. God does seem to know a lot and I know He has helped me out a bunch through all kinds of His books.
