MISTRESS

MISTRESS

Dark. The meaning will be left to reader interprutation for now.

MISTRESS

Autumn sheds tears of rain.

Leaves fade away,

as life blows away in the wind.

Sorrow sings a lullaby,

gentle, and full of agony.

Winter laments a time past.

Fall in love with purity,

yet in lust lay with tragedy.

Devoted to the one of love,

yet enslaved to the mistress.

The lover wails in lament.

A nail sinks deeper,

piercing divine flesh.

The mistress enslaves with a touch,

arousing death within.

very abstract.
but the metaphors are well-written.
I could think of a number of things the poem could mean, and I'm sure any other reader could come up with several more.
your style is mysterious, but captivating.
very good.
