MOTHER'S REMORSE (MOMMY II)A Poem by Matt ThompsonGore, sorrow, mourning, forgivenessMOTHER'S REMORSE (MOMMY II)
Tears scream of agony,
flesh and blood from the womb
lie in a morbid bloody heap.
Legal murder,
defenseless slaughter.
Killing Life,
before life is born.
Baby's blood,
on the hands of doom.
Hide in guilt,
wallow in shame.
Sorrow wraps it's arms around you.
A prayer is sobbed
through choking horror.
Haunted by the voice of the dead.
"Mommy, I'm sorry the only time you'll hold me is never.
It's ok Mommy, I'll still love you forever"*
Forgiveness comes with mourning.
Forgiveness comes with mourning
Forgiveness comes with mourning...
