FEEL MY PAINS

FEEL MY PAINS

A Poem by Mosunmola Adeniyi

Shatter my fears
Unbind my heart let me breathe
Shadow my heartbreaks let me see the light
Shield my pedal lest I wax cold
Walk my path and face my hardship
Pierced thoughts, troubled soul
bleeding inward with a view of an unclear future
I cross my line; I fight my battles
spread my tears let it melt the world
Hold my waist lest I tweak and fall
Float my shame let it blend with the sea
Scars of the present time; inevitable memories of the past
Open my sores and let it be a castaway
Taste my sorrow, gaggle my worries
feel the pains you put me through before it grows old
