Nigeria my country

Nigeria my country

A Poem by Mosunmola Adeniyi

Golden circles in befitting squares
Parallels in the nearest places
Cerebral inhabitants in diverse pairs
Adventures in years back to pin down in faces

The land that seeps deeply with natural substances
A full tap and garner for aliens across the isle
Cultural diversity paves way for its individual dynamism in instances
All hands on deck shoulder it's elevation awhile

In the olden ages was she choked up in captivity
1960 was the then she cried out to the desert for liberation
Her broods enmeshed as they pulled through in every activity
Her vigour way makes oneness and due procreation

Happy Independence Nigeria.

This is indeed an eulogy. I so much appreciated your alternate rhythm, the diction and the flow of your words. Well articulation. Happy Independence to our great nation.
