Beauty that dazzlesA Poem by Mosunmola Adeniyi
Dark skinned and highly cognizable
With a plainly prolonged face suckled in its saving grace Splatters and drips from the running depth of the ocean Swift and sheen in full apparition Courteously incredible in all spites Hips encapsulated in moving figures Sauvely fresh and curved up in oval shapes Beauty on a stalk with its skin on the intend to abscond Gushing sighs from behind in affirmation Eyes like snatches from the pacific Teeth forming like purified sources from the coastal down the mount If she was a place she would have been my world Ode to the nightingale that asserts her firmness The hourglass bodied in vision and thesis Onlookers on the exterior mounting pleasure The only deity the soul longs for Her tenderness a deal prorogued Beauty without wall paintings and canvas Ointments are mere makeovers on her dark soft pedal Legal outfits at the befitting end Spotless and vibrant like a scooping mirror falling across Alluring in smile a recall to the young old days of the fairies Dark skinned and humble in heart Always on a soft thread across the borderline of the route Mouths agape in marvel at the dazzling pictogram Her black is extremely beautiful © 2015 Mosunmola AdeniyiFeatured Review
