Remorse

Remorse

A Poem by Diana Lynn

Our lips touch

Softly, gingerly

Our words clash

Harshly, angrily

Our bodies press

Gently, warmly

Our fists attack

Cruelly, mercilessly

Our eyes meet

Brightly, lovingly

Our tears flow

Regretfully, ruefully

I am touched by this. It's said plain and clear. There's no denying it. It's very beautiful, the words and visually.
