and These Are My Branches

and These Are My Branches

A Poem by Morticka

How much more can the branch bend?

and when it snaps?

What then?

What do you do?

Will it ever recover?

Will anyone water it?

Will any one even care?

I enjoyed this because it got me thinking. I interpreted the branch as a person. All of the questions that follow were interesting. For some odd reason I've spent time indulging myself in the natural world for a while now. Some branches can live on their own and grow by themselves, even when they break. Some others won't grow but dry, die. It depends on the branch, and the person.
