thinking your mind can be bought

long lost mates from days gone past

who claim to be your friend

now a shadow you somewhat cast

caring souls appear and pretend

and whoa is me when it is time for your vote

good ole boy politicians doing handstands

now they have concern for everyone and their goat

remember even a dog can shake hands
