The body has been tempered,

Every muscle stretched, every inch sweat

Disrobed, naked to the beast, as he is naked to man.

Eye's reflect, rage, fury, fire, and hunger

The beast eyes his prey, striking the ground in ever step,

Arms are locked, tension turns from aggression to hate,

The body has been tempered, 

Muscles turn red, blood begins to heat,

Footing slackens,

Jaws snapping,

Sands loosen as the body slides,

Every charge, every lunge,

Sands loosen as the body slides.

The body has been tempered,

Muscles, repel,

Ground, regain

Blood, boiling,

Blows met,

Offense regained.

But the mind has been tempered,

Counter weight,

Respond to aggression,

Emotions too wild to control.

Snap collar bone.


Collar bone broken

Body tempered, but lost
