Falling Hammers

Falling Hammers

A Poem by MoriartyMesa

When the hammer falls
the sounds of calm shallow
unto the defying echo if the hammer....?
When the hammer falls
one should be weary of every step,
one should be weary of every, breath, every word.

Because when the hammer falls
it must land upon something
it must land upon someone
should you be nervous?
Should you be aware,
yes!

When the hammer falls
it needs no reason.
When the hammer falls,
all lies, soon become treason

With the repeated line of "when the hammer falls" this piece has a lot of power behind it.

"Because when the hammer falls
it must land upon something"

"When the hammer falls,
all lies, soon become treason"

Love those lines. Very thought provoking. Well done!
