You Came to Me

You Came to Me

A Story by MorganPark
"

About five years ago a woman described the child of my dreams that my husband and I lost before they were born.

"
I was there, alone.
Wondering what you were doing.
Wondering if you were dancing.
She saw you. You were there.
I was not alone.
She described every bit of you that I dreamed of.
Every bit, including your long blonde hair.
In my dreams that long blonde hair sparkled.
It was a grey day.
Did she see it sparkle?
You were there, holding my hand she said.
Were you telling me something?
I know.
I knew what you were there for the moment she said you were next to me.
You were there to tell me she was coming… and everything would be alright.

Nine months later…

She arrived.
