Long distance

Long distance

A Poem by Morgan Armstrong
"

A short-poem about two teenagers across the world.

"

With every single glimpse of the screen,
My soul bares witness to the innocence personified.
The love of the Gods, molded into one,
Whose eyes possess the power to harness the sun.
His smile is sumptuous, luminous, and true;
It transform the blackest of my skies blue.
His laughter it calms me; It makes my day. It makes me smile.
It washes my vexation and sadness away.
I've always wanted to tell you my heart warms up-
Each time I see your name on my screen. Inside I feel love. ...you are just a boy, and I am just a girl. And we are thousands of miles away from each-other.
