but we writers

do bleed

the same blood

I agree with MIngram. I feel connected to everyone else who writes all of a sudden... I love how you used words of the same gender but had an absolutely different meaning. I adore poetry like this. Very well written; I can't wait to read more. Yay metaphors!

Very intriguing. Your poem makes me feel a bond with all other writers. Although we express ourselves differently, we are one of the same. Nice
