SUNSHINEA Poem by Rose of many coloursSunshine in Trinidad and Tobago, morning, noon, evening, names of places in Trinidad,Some mornings ago, Sunshine grew as a little plant In Mayaro when miday comes not everyone delight under it's sweltering leaves, But the birds so wild ,chirping and hunting as Sunshine is free. The bees with the happiest sound, buzz..buzz.. pollin for you and me. Sunshine grew and grew, all colourful-yellow gold, red gold: And of course fire gold. Clouds sighed and went to sleep, Giving way to an ageless Sunshine as she spread herself, Over the rivers, ravines, pitchlake and seas. The whole of Trinidad and Tobago- flora and fauna, Eat, breathe and live, Under the Light it give. Evening is here, With no more time to spare. Sunshine lays low into the ground..
