A Poem by Jessie

I sit 'neath the sky,
In the arms of my mother,
a weeping willow she be.
And I sit here wrapped in the vines,
wrapped tight 'round the tree
me daddy kisses me on the cheeks,
soft as the wind blows,
for the wind be he.
My brothers twinkle down on me,
numerous b'yond belief,
for they light the night sky,
shimmering their lullaby dance for me,
as me mother sings me to sleep.
I wrap meself tighter in me mothers branches,
me father brushes kisses on me cheeks again,
and me brothers dance for me once more,
as I see my sister's crescent smile.
"Say g'night little one,

for when day breaks you must leave home..."

...
. oh, it's a song ... sweet and mellifluous ... but poignant too ... personally, i've been home and out and home and out and am home now ... it's crazy ...
