I, together.

I, together.

A Poem by Ja Shua Ried
"

interpreting a dream.

"
I Am Chased For Dead
My Heart Torn From Chest
And Again Torn In Two
There In My Hand I Hold This Heart Together
It Once Again Beats To Give Me Life
But I Still Am Chased For Dead
And I Must Hold This Heart Together
Until The Halves Accept Each Other
So I May Survive This Fleeting Life.

Author's Note

Ja Shua Ried
i often analyze dreams upon waking, trying to recall all the piece, and introspecting. Sometimes i think about them for a minute, sometimes hours, days, or years, still. I recalled this dream over a cup of coffee before work, jotting this down in a beat up moleskin.

maybe dreams are not meant to make sense but to send messages.. perhaps certain imageries from your own thoughts manifest into dream form, this is like that kind of abstract thinking, I quite like the idea of the halves accepting each other, very interesting.
