Prologue

And our story begins...

          I collapsed on the balcony in a fit of tears. The thoughts raced through my head, making it all hurt twice as much. “I’m in love with a Shadow” … “Cheer up Princess, you can pull up out of anything if you set your heart to it”… Yea… but what if I don’t want it? My Guardian was gone… forever.

                I just screamed out. I didn’t care that I didn’t recognize the city, the people around me, anything. It was late, with no moon, fitting as the one I loved was necessarily obsessed with the moon. “There is no future without you! I want YOU!”
