HE RECALLSA Poem by Moomal AhmedA man and his daughter have separated, and he still yearns for her.He recalls her fingers once laced in his her smooth white hands, his rough touch, He recalls her hair mingled with his her golden locks, his white nest, He recalls her face, then looking unto his her fairly made features, his aged wrinkles, He recalls the pressure of her face on his shoulder her soft, mature motions, his abrupt halts, He recalls her respect, when the moon was aglow Like the grave of an angel twinkling with light.
