tight squeeze

tight squeeze

A Poem by moo to the world

If you look closely
at the tiny negative spaces
     your find me
   just a spec
on an endless blinking and blaring world
         its easy to miss
     open and quiet spaces
          (they are hardly there)
we are drawn to the flashes in the pans and screams
         screaming lights
             screaming cars
         screaming lovers
      screaming babes  trying to touch
look at them all just burn up

but sometimes
just sitting quietly
can really show the monsters teeth

just feels like this place to be more
now its got concrete and glass teeth
 dead wood and steel skeletons
and bright lights, sugar and frenzy painted over it

but you can squeeze here with me
    hide in the negative space
watch this world gnash its giant maul
                   and its victims

                                               ... willingly walk into it
