how i found you

when god
   with his square shoulders and handsome shape
       spread the stars on a dark obsidian table
                  swirled it around
               laid it out

some of the stars fell off the black table
     into some of the little things he was working on
    and one i swear was you
        thats the only reason i can find
         for your eyes to shine as they do
