Such Truth

Such Truth

 

 

Reality is no more than the sum

of a great many prosaic and humble facts.

But others have more ambition 

and tell us that on top of mere fact

or behind it or surrounding it or oozing from it

like the cream-filling out a donut hole

is a thing higher, better, nobler, more fine

to which we should bend our knee:

call it Truth.

Such truth.  Desirable.  Unverifiable.   Infinitely pliable.
