When darkness lay upon the deep

you might have thought the Lord asleep

but lo!  He made the Light and Day.

Which is to say a long, long way

before the End Times

the Lord created certain enzymes

one of which is luciferase

about which you should not be blasé

nor overlook nor take for granted

it helps to make the world enchanted

unveiling to the human sight

the fireflies that dart and flit, and mingle in the night.

 

But Emerald Robinson’s suspicious

that vaccines have (against our wishes)

this very same luciferase

Though hidden from the human gaze

it will be used to oversee us
