Darkness and Dawn

Prompt - Write a poem including Smooth, Soothe, Work, and Dark within it

Darling please never shy from yourself.

You might think of yourself as nothing,

Because you swim under a sea of darkness.

Remember that inky blackness you see doesn’t mean anything terrible.

My love, you will soon come to find that chaos may soothe your anguish.

Now may not work for you to see the swirling darkness fills the negative space.

But soon you will see how brilliant it makes your colour shine.

Please allow the sea to help smooth your heartache, as it does the stones along its shore.

So laugh my dear, dawn is approaching.
