When You Crack, You Burn

When You Crack, You Burn

A Poem by Just A Passion For Writing

I beg you, please don’t snuff out the light
The darkness that plagues you is thick
But when you crack, you burn
And burn hotter than the sun.
Without control, you are a suffocating breath
You forget there is a middle ground
Either you blanket in black or shine bright enough to shield away
I beg you, please don’t snuff out the light
With either your darkness that covers or your radiant light that outshines.
