![]() Only True Penguins FlyA Poem by Noah Cole![]() Among the many questions of life, Why can only true penguins fly?![]() Why must we stay on the ground?
Jesus is our lord and savior,
Yet we must stay here earth-bound.
Can’t we fly to our world in the nether?
Only so much can we do,
Shouldn’t we all die?
Too many people to sue,
Why can only true penguins fly?
If white is the new black,
Then why must we dress so dark.
All I want to do is lay back,
And enjoy this beautiful park.
If drugs make you high,
Then why are we here on the ground?
If all you do is sigh,
Then why must you be crowned?
Kings are only rich commoners,
Who are related to famous men.
Why should they get honours,
If all they do is sin?
Why must we always say hello,
If shortly we always say goodbye?
If I say no,
Why must you cry?
If millions die in a week,
Why don’t you produce a single tear?
Why must it be answers we seek?
Why isn’t just plain knowledge held dear?
If your best friend dies,
You try to kill yourself.
But what if she lies?
You place her on a shelf.
Some things just aren’t explainable.
Some just don’t exist.
But everything is damnable,
And we answer with a fist.
I no longer know the answers,
To Anything…
