Youth are not Useless but they are used less.

It isn't a story.Its a message.Message for today's youth,message for the senior citizens who still need to recognise potential of today's youth,message for parents to encourage youth of India

Good for nothing!Lazy!Useless!.Do we need to say this anymore?This is how today's youth has been rated.Today people believe that Indian youth is useless and their energies cannot be accelerated to reach the summit.I am a person of belief that India's nation building models as idealised by visionaries like Shri Pandit Nehru,Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam are the ones whose foundation rests on the shoulders of the country's youth. Unlike other measurable metrics like GDP, GNP the
pro-active role played by youth is an immeasurable quantity,the effect of which is quite indirect and powerful.Daily news and reports has forced myself to think on the topic whether are the youth of today not able to realize the need of a developed, mightier and a stronger India.When the problems of the youth were being discussed,people started remarking that
"TODAY'S YOUTH IS USELESS".SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA just smiled and added 'D' in the word useless and read it " USED LESS".Yes, the perception is so different not useless but Used less.When we start giving the right direction to the youth and start 'using' their positive energy in a channelised way,the youth becomes the fountain head of creativity.It is often seen that the energies which could accelerate us to the summit are simply wasted in performing the unwanted and unwarranted.If is truly said "YOUTH is like a seed,if we take good care of it,fulfill its need,watering it at right time and put it on an open place than it will definitely grow in a tree and produce sweet fruits."
We should provide the youth necessary facilities.Young people play a very important role in success of banks,factories,industries,doctors etc.I am a firm believer of the youth power and feel that if it gets connected to the society,a lot can be changed.Various social causes like poverty,illiteracy etc can come to an end if youth plays an active role in such causes.For eg Modi's launch of Swach Bharat Abhiyan"has shown a great success where youth in large number have participated to make their country cleaner and greener".This was the outcome of the initiative taken by colleges and other educational institutions. Similarly the number of illiterates in India are decreasing due to the initiative taken by youth.This again is the initiative by various educational institutions, NSS departments,literacy drive campaigns etc.Our leaders should give facilities to the younger generation to polish their qualities.Young people with seperative qualities move the position of their nation at a very high level.There are
innumerous examples of youth who at a young age have created history or have reached the pinnacle of success.They may be Bhavana gawali who at the age of 26 entered lok sabha or Kiran Datar who at the age of 30 started a company called Cyber Bazar which was later bought out by largest global player.
Thus,the youth has immense power to bring a positive change in our country.They should get the right motivational push. The youth should be given right place and source.It is true Youth is the hope and backbone of every country.Thus youth should never forget "This is a time for bold measures.This is the country,you are the generation".
