Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by Amber Smith
"

This one is very personal to me. It is old but helps me in time of crisis.

"
Every single day
I propel my lifeless body
Into a meaningless void
Into nothingness

Every day
I am left without breath
Endless tears flow,
Sinking chest

Each and every day
I wage war on my own mind
Battling the thoughts,
The thoughts to just end it all

And then, every single day
I see my salvation,
I see my reason to fight
I see her face

Great expressions of the heart. Many times were only one more mile to getting victory. Keep going.

Poetry is best when it is personal and straight from the heart. From the darkness comes the light!
Well done for sharing this personal writing.

Alan

This was a good write, straight to the point of the downfall and the reason not to give in.
