Send.

I have so many unspoken words.
Because I am not allowed
To speak how I feel
Oh, But if you knew
If i had just pressed "Send"

I write to get the trapped feelings out
And I think each time
If you only knew,
If you just knew
The terrible heartache I feel each and every moment
You would understand,
If I had only pressed "Send"

But I know you feel the impact
Just as I do
You've told me in a quivering voice,
Afraid of what you were saying.
Has that fear subsided?
If I only knew.
If I would just press "Send".
I could transform from dust
To once again alive

This is not to be graded. I write in a cathartic manner. Your criticisms are welcome but I am happy with how each and every one of my pieces turns out. Because they are me. Simply me.

And that is exactly how I feel. Honestly, I never spend more the 5 minutes writing. I just write what comes out or else it doesn't feel genuine.

I write in a similar way. I call it. Flow writing. Yesterday I wrote two poems in 20 minutes. The mind wanted to release words and thoughts.
