A Dreamer's DreamA Poem by Monica Carr InnovationThe illusive love that never was. When love turns on you and the realization that it was not felt equally.
Oh, how I have dreamt of thee,
Till come sun and morning due. T'was merely the beginning, When the end will come too soon. Oh, What t'is this love, That feeds my splendid bliss. T'is not bread, nor air, Nor water upon my lips. Thine love was but a shadow Casted upon my heart. Thine hopes of my dimise Cutting through me like an arrow. In place of thine love Thou wish for my utter death And spat at me the poision That I took with my last breath. Oh, who would want to live When comes time to never be? And dreams of love's beauty, T'was but a dream to thee. 8-6-10 © 2011 Monica Carr InnovationAuthor's Note
