Waves

Waves

A Poem by Mona-nee

The sun rises at east
Where the wind howls like beast
Like a shell a floats in the sea
Tiny as it can be.

At least in the rising sun
It showed us how to have fun
Like a dolphin swims all day
And crabs crawling at bays

When the sunset comes up
Make sure no one dares to interrupt
In an island full of myths
To understand them is a gift.

The starry night starts to appear
Darkness is what we fear
But our feelings can change
And like the waves, they are not the same.

Very creative! Keep up the great work. Many poems are based on feelings and perceptions that are different for everyone. In a way you can't go wrong but even better the more you communicate with other people you gain more idea's and knowledge. It's win-win. Thank you for sharing Mona.

Hi,the best advice a I can give you is read as much of the other poets work as possible. There are some extremely talented folk on here so you can't help but learn.I'm no great shakes but try to count syllables or tap out a beat to your words, that way a more even flow can be achieved.Good luck, take care.....
