Condemnation of Memory

Condemnation of Memory

A Poem by MomzillaNC

That raging titian toddler

Screams from his sphincter-faced gob
Witch hunt! Witch hunt! Witch hunt!
How dare they hold me accountable
For a lifetime of crimin' my crimes

He’s received due process
Been found guilty
The verdict by a jury of his peers
Guilty on all thirty-four counts
Thirty-four times crimin’ his crimes

Listen, you convict in chief
If you can’t do the time
Don’t do the crime
Crimin’ your crimes will
Sooner or later catch you out

It’s past his jail time

Return the chant, “Lock him up”
The pusillanimous pigataur
He’s guilty as charged
No one is above the law

Strike his name
From every building
Damnatio memoriae
the condemnation of memory
And, let us hear him no more
