Spreading stains o’fiery glory ‘cross forest scenes

Dying flames of vitality…red & gold & brown & greens

Bright Autumn color beneath an azure sky

Shedding leaves fell upon fading lawns lie

Bare-boned, skeletal trees on the horizon

Leave evergreen reminders of vibrant holidays, my son

I really enjoy the way you chose your presentation for this one, the color choices which gradually fade away, accompanied with the cadence of your indents. It does a good job really giving that feeling of autumn. I am not really feeling your fourth line, it just seems very mediocre compared to the others, just lacks the same punch in my opinion. Other than that line, the others all seemed perfect for showing the transition of the seasons.

I took a panoramic shot near my house a couple weeks ago, love the diversity of colours this time of year!

Thanks. Great photo. As for that fourth line, well, I was trying to convey how the green of the lawns is also transitioning, fading from verdant to dried out and being covered by falling leaves; my problem was saying that AND rhyming with "sky." Phwh.
