Stand With the Lord

I stand and consider

I stand and hope in the heart of my soul

For I will stand on top of the hill
with the staff of God in my hands.

In His Strength I will stand 

and know as His Word tells me

“No one will be able to stand up 

against you all the days of your life.

When trials and need call 

I will listen when His Voice guides me

I will go out and stand 

with my Father in the field where you are.

Against life’s trials and tribulation

I will look to the Lord and

Stand firm and see the deliverance 

the Lord will give you,

In every day and every way

I will try to hear His Voice

I will try to make every place holy and

Stand in the holy place

When the Lord counsels peace and obedience

The world does not always hear

Nor choose to listen

I stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked.

For every decision the world demands

In all things, in all ways

No other choice can ever be right

I stand with the Father, who sent me.

When right is hard to see

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth

Buckled around your waist, 

With the breastplate of righteousness in place,

For the peace of your heart,

For the only Salvation of your soul

For the Hope of HisMercy

Stand fast in the true Grace of God
