Bursting

Bursting

A Poem by the penumbra

Holding in my anger
Throwing away the lies
Wasting all my breath
Giving up my pride
What'd I do to deserve you?
I'll forget all the bad
And focus on your eyes
The sound of your breath
How it sounds when you say my name
And every little thing
That happens inside of me
When you cross my mind.
The silver string
That lies in between
Or the spark inside
Just waiting to burst.
