waking up

waking up

A Poem by the penumbra

I've always been told that the moment
you wake up is the most important
part of the day,
I wholly disagree, the most
important part of my day is when
I wrap myself around a pen
like a python
and bleed black ink,
so each letter and scribble is an endless
onyx abyss of meaning that
I drown in again and again.

Really interesting imagery, especially
"so each letter and scribble is an endless
onyx abyss of meaning that
I drown in again and again."
I love your word choices.
