it is something that i want to say so badly right now. i wish i could express it better though.

To love someone
With a passion of fire
Only to have that beloved
Dump the vast azure sea
Over those searing flames
Extinguishing them completely
So that not even coals remain?

Have you ever had
The one you loved
Unexpectedly without reason
Turn their back on you
Leaving you to rot
In precious memories
That you cling to for life
Only to have them drive you insane?

Tell me.
Did you ever
Go through the pain
Of watching your very existence
Flit away like a light
Finding another to love
And leaving you in the dust
While they unknowingly pull you apart
Fiber by fiber?

Tell me.
Do you know how hard it is
To sit and do nothing
About your bleeding heart
Because trying just made everything worse
And have toxic gasses consume you
Boiling your intestines
Robbing the air from your chest
And having to stand it without a sound?

Tell me.
Do you think it would be easy
To look into their eyes
Everyday
See what you unexplainably lost
What you can never have again
And try and utter one small word
While it tears your soul apart
Before the sound even escapes your lips?
