all that remains

all that remains

A Poem by Momo Shikiro
"

very random things happen when you add gym+ one good line= very random poem

"

All that remains
Is the maggots in my brains
And the rot on my teeth
And the stench on my feet
And the hole in my neck
And the knife in my back
I'm rotting away
And there’s nothing i can say
And nothing i can do
To get to you
Alone in this grave
There’s nothing you can save
As flesh falls from the bone
I fall to the unknown

Maggots in my brains...what an image.
Great description and word choice. The subject matter was creative too, nice job :)

This piece reminds me of how scary it is to think that one day I no longer will be alive and I will be just another grave in the cemetary forgotten by all. It's a fear that makes you want to make an impression on the world so you can be remembered. It's an interesting piece I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for sharing.
