AURORA

AURORA

A Poem by Momal Khan
"

AURORA-The Dawn

"

The rising sun in the sky

Causing the golden glow up high

When the onset of daylight

Dilutes the sharp shadows of the night

Spreading light and tinted clouds

Screaming the arrival of a new day, so loud

Pink, blues, yellow and beige

Bright rays flood over the landscape

Lightening every blade of grass

Shining brightly like a star

The warm sun rays on my skin

Feels like kisses from divine

Melody of the birds chirping

Like nightingale and cuckoo singing

The nascent leaves painted soft green

The ground scattered with vivid blooms,

Whose petals dance in the breeze

sunrise
